Over the past year, CR-Kunming has fully aligned its efforts with the Lijiang-Shangrila Railway's key role as a "beautiful heavenly railway" and "ethnic unity bond," working to enhance both passenger and freight transport quality and efficiency. This has injected strong momentum into the high-quality development of the economy and society in Northwestern Yunnan.
Throughout the year, the staff of the Lijiang-Shangrila Railway has remained dedicated to overcoming challenges such as harsh cold and low oxygen conditions on the plateau. They have provided warm services to passengers, meticulously maintained equipment, and made significant efforts to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the "beautiful heavenly railway."
In its first year, the Lijiang-Shangrila Railway saw a substantial increase in both passenger and freight traffic quantity and quality, with over 3.17 million passengers transported and more than 410,000 tons of goods moved. The dream of the local people for smooth and efficient travel and transportation has become a reality.
