It is reported that CR-Nanning regularly operates three fast-track customs clearance trains each week from Nanningnan Railway Station to Vietnam's Yên Viên Railway Station, with additional trains added as needed. The entire transport time is consistently stable at approximately 14 hours. Since July of this year, the China-Vietnam freight trains have essentially become a "daily service," with the freight volume accounting for 65% of the national railway export to Vietnam in heavy trucks and 81% in container cargo. The Nanning International Railway Port has now become a major hub for the export of railway cargo to Vietnam.
As of now, the China-Vietnam freight trains departing from Guangxi are connected to 25 cities in China, with cross-border cargo transport extending to countries such as Vietnam, Laos and Thailand, thus building a "fast track" for trade between China and ASEAN nations.
