On November 6, in the northern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains, the whistle of a train broke the silence as a freight train carrying 45 containers filled with auto parts departed from the Wusu Railway Freight Yard in Tacheng, Xinjiang, heading toward Almaty, Kazakhstan. This marked the official launch of the CRE (Central Asia) Train service at Wusu Railway Station, adding a new member to the "steel camel caravan."

In recent years, the Xinjiang Autonomous Region has been accelerating the construction of its "East Connect, West Expansion" transportation network. The "Air Silk Road" has continued to expand, while industrial development and improvements to the business environment work in tandem, injecting fresh vitality into its open development strategy.

In the first three quarters of this year, Xinjiang's total foreign trade import and export value reached 322.39 billion yuan, a YoY increase of 29%, making it the fastest-growing region in the nation. Xing Tao, Director of the Department of Commerce for the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, noted, "The role of the 'golden corridor' for westward opening is becoming increasingly prominent, continuously unleashing a powerful 'golden effect'."
