For the first time, Train X387 is equipped with a Beidou satellite navigation system to track the containers’ transport route, so as to let express delivery enterprises monitor where the train has passed and provide accurate operation schedule for e-commerce logistics.
CRCT-Xi’an formulated a logistic plan according to the location of transit depots, shipping efficiency, and security check time of different express companies, and produced a full-chain logistics service covering the entire process including the starting point, the destination, and all the depots. CRCT-Xi’an installed intelligent devices on containers or cargoes to track cargo location, temperature, humidity, and other transportation data with “a click of the mouse”; It also analyzed the situation of container cargo storage and congestion on transportation routes with big data to lay a decision-making basis for safety control and transportation efficiency, and to ensure the safe and smooth operation of trains.
